Michael Murray: Portfolio Manager, Teachers' Private Capital
Michael joined Teachers’ in 2005, has participated in investments in Education Management Corporation and MidOcean Partners and is actively involved with Teachers' investment in GCAN Insurance Co. In late 2007, Michael helped form the Financial Services practice area within Teachers'. Prior to joining Teachers’, Michael worked with Bain & Company in the firm’s Toronto office serving clients around the world in strategy development, profit improvement and M&A engagements. Previously, Michael was a Senior Director of Corporate Development at Delano Technology Corporation in Toronto. Michael received a B.Comm from Queen’s University, and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth where he graduated as an Edward Tuck Scholar with High Distinction.
