Richard Kinlough: Managing Director and Group Head, CIT Corporate Finance, Canada

Richard Kinlough is Managing Director and Group Head of CIT Corporate Finance, Canada. He joined CIT in December 2006 as part of the acquisition of CCFL Mezzanine Partners by CIT Canada. Prior to joining CIT, Mr. Kinlough was the President of CCFL Mezzanine Partners, where, during his 16 year tenure, he supervised investments totaling $364 million to 25 Canadian mid-market companies operating in 18 different industries. Prior to 1990, Mr. Kinlough was Executive Director in charge of the Corporate Finance Division of NZI Securities Australia Limited, an Australian merchant bank and prior to that he was appointed Executive Director – Lending for Macquarie Bank. Prior to 1985, Mr. Kinlough established AMP-AMEX Leasing Limited in Australia providing equipment finance to large and medium-sized businesses, on behalf of American Express Bank and the AMP Society. Prior to 1981, Mr. Kinlough was Regional Manager, Eastern Canada, for a major U.S. bank subsidiary, formerly Manufacturers Hanover Canada Limited. Mr. Kinlough holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Loyola of Montreal (now Concordia University). He is a Director of Madacy Holdings Inc., the General Partner of Madacy Entertainment LP, and a Director of the Canadian Venture Capital Association (“CVCA”) and is a member of its Executive Committee. He also holds the ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
