Scott Stuart: Co-Founder, Sageview Capital
Mr. Stuart joined Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., L.P. in 1986 in New York, became partner at year-end 1994, and served on KKR’s investment committee from 2000 until 2005. From 2000 until his departure in 2005, he was responsible for KKR’s industry groups in the utilities and consumer products sectors. Prior to joining KKR in 1986, Mr. Stuart worked from 1981 to 1984 at Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, Inc. in the Mergers and Acquisitions
Department. Transactions in which Mr. Stuart has participated include DPL, Inc., Duracell, Granum/Summit, International Transmission Company, K.C. Cable, KKR Financial, KSL Recreation, Newsquest Media, RJR Nabisco/Borden, Sealy Corporation, Texas Genco, The Boyds Collection, and World Color Press.
