Brandon Bethea: Principal, Insight Equity
Brandon is a Principal with Insight Equity. Prior to joining, Brandon spent three years at Freeman Spogli & Co., a Los-Angeles based private equity firm with $2.5 billion under management focused on investing in the retail, distribution and direct marketing sectors. While at Freeman Spogli, Brandon participated in an out-of-court restructuring for Hudson Respiratory Care, Inc. that included negotiations with banks, bondholders and other stakeholders.
Prior to his work at Freeman Spogli, Brandon was a Financial Analyst with Salomon Smith Barney in their West Coast Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance departments. While at Salomon, Brandon worked on a variety of transactions, most notably the spin-off of Massey Energy from Fluor Corp.
Brandon received his AB from Harvard University, majoring in Economics. He also earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Brandon currently serves on the Board of Directors for Walker Group Holdings LLC and Extract Technologies, Ltd.
