John Brignola: Partner - LBC Credit Partners
John Brignola is a founding partner and EVP of LBC Credit Partners, Inc. LBC is a private equity fund providing junior capital in the form of 2nd lien, mezzanine, subordinated debt and equity participations to middle market companies in the U.S. with capital needs ranging from $5 million to $50 million.
Mr. Brignola has 21 years of senior debt, junior debt and special situations investing experience with the past nine years dedicated to the junior debt and special situations markets. Since 1999 Mr. Brignola has a successful track record of nearly $1.3 billion in transaction experience ranging from M&A activity through complex debt restructurings.
Prior to founding LBC, Mr. Brignola was the Director of Special Investments at large hedge fund responsible for private junior secured and special situations investments. Other experience includes positions with PPM America, AT&T Capital (ultimately acquired by PPM), and the asset based lending and asset recovery divisions of Meridian Bank (ultimately acquired by Wachovia).
He serves on various committees at the national level of the Turnaround Management Association and is a board member of Supply One Holdings, LLC, an LBC portfolio company.
Mr. Brignola is a frequent speaker and author on the topic of junior capital, M&A and distressed debt. He is an active member of the TMA, ACG and CFA and holds a Masters of Science degree in Finance from Drexel University.
