Peter Brodsky: Partner, HM Capital Partners
Mr. Brodsky is a Partner of the private equity investment firm of HM Capital Partners. Mr. Brodsky is responsible for the Firm’s media investments. In particular, Mr. Brodsky focuses on the Firm’s activities in telephone directories, broadcasting, cable television and media services.
Mr. Brodsky was actively involved in the execution of the radio buy-and-build strategies in Chancellor Media and Capstar Broadcasting. In addition, Mr. Brodsky has primary responsibility for the Firm’s investments in and serves on the Board of Directors of: LIN TV Corp (NYSE: TVL), one of the largest independent owner of television broadcasting stations in the United States; Choice Cable, a cable television company located in Ponce, Puerto Rico; Canpages, the leading independent directories business in Canada; PDC, an independent directories business headquartered in Orem, UT; the Wilkes Barre Publishing Company (“WBPC”). the publisher of the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader and other community newspapers in Northeastern Pennsylvania; and UniTek USA, a leading provider of outsourced installation, technical maintenance and construction services to leading companies in the satellite, telecommunication, broadband cable and cellular industries.
Prior to joining HM Capital, Mr. Brodsky was employed in the media group of the investment banking division of Credit Suisse First Boston in New York. He received his BA from Yale University.
