Shaun Buckley: Director - Transactions Support Services Group, RSM McGladrey
Shaun Buckley is a director in the National Transaction Support Services practice in the Dallas office. With over 25 years of experience, he has served organizations across a broad range of industries, and has assisted both strategic and private equity clients with acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations. His experience includes deal process management, financial due diligence, financial structuring, consultation regarding transaction documents, and closing and post-closing services.
Prior to joining RSM McGladrey, Shaun worked 22 years for Deloitte & Touche, including eight years as a partner primarily providing merger and acquisition services in the firm’s National M&A Services Group. He gained significant experience serving private equity groups and middle-market and Fortune 500-sized public and private clients. Prior to this role, Shaun served clients in Deloitte & Touche’s audit practice.
Shaun has spoken at several industry and trade association conferences including the M&A Advisor Conference in Chicago and the University of Dallas Mergers & Acquisitions Seminar. He has also served on the board of directors of certain branches of the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit and YMCA of Greater Rochester, committee chairman for United Way of Greater Rochester, and on the Department of Accounting and Information Systems External Advisory Board at Michigan State University.
Shaun is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
Shaun received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Operations Management from the University of Rochester.
