Alison is co-head of the Financial Sponsors Group in the Investment Banking Division. She joined the firm as a partner in 2001. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Alison spent a combined 20 years at Drexel Burnham and Merrill Lynch, where she worked on leveraged transactions for corporate clients and private equity firms and held several senior management positions in the securities and investment banking areas. Alison serves on the Advisory Board of the New York City Ballet and the board of Mount Sinai Children's Center Foundation. She holds a BS and an MBA from New York University. Alison and her husband live in Manhattan with their two children.
