Andrew O'Brien, Managing Director, JPMorgan Securities Inc.
Andy is currently a Managing Director and Co-Head of Leveraged Finance with specific responsibilities for North American Loan Syndications. Loan Syndications includes Loan Capital Markets, Syndicate and Loan Distribution. Andy has been with JPMorgan, including its predecessor organizations, for 20 years.
In 1985, Andy joined the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. Upon completion of the Bank’s Credit Training Program, Andy joined MHT’s Media & Entertainment Group. From 1985 to 1991, Andy served in the Media Group in various capacities in New York and ultimately in London as Vice President in charge of the bank’s European Media Group. In 1991, Andy joined Loan Syndications and was promoted to Managing Director in 1995. He was promoted to Head of U.S. Loan Sales in 1999 and to his current position as Head of Syndications in 2004.
Andy holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a BA from The College of the Holy Cross. He and his wife, Robin, live in Bedford, New York with their three daughters.
