Michael A. Carrazza, Founder & CEO, Solaia Capital Management LLC,

Michael A. Carrazza is founder and CEO of Solaia Capital Management LLC, a private equity investment company focused on acquiring and operating middle market companies. Solaia is an affiliated entity to Bard Capital Group where Mr. Carrazza is co-founder.

Mr. Carrazza has nearly twenty years of experience and has been leading transactions for more than fifteen years. He has deep operating and investing experience across multiple industry sectors. Recently, Mr. Carrazza sponsored the buyout of AmQuip Corporation, the third largest crane rental business in the U.S., a transaction valued at more than $320 million. He currently manages two additional portfolio companies, Blastrac Global, the leading manufacturer of concrete, asphalt and steel surface preparation equipment; and ISPG, a domestic distribution company of industrial products.

Prior to founding Solaia, Mr. Carrazza led the structuring and financing of International Surface Preparation Corp, a former U.S. Filter subsidiary. Prior to that he was a Principal at The GlenRock Group, where he managed middle market transactions for the firm. He Co-Founded and was Managing Partner of Conifer Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Mitchell Madison Group, and served on the Executive Team of Mitchell Madison Group. Mr. Carrazza founded, operated and sold Southport Consulting Company, an IT consulting business, and Advancing Blade, an aircraft leasing business. He previously work for Goldman, Sachs & Co. and served as a design engineer for Bell Laboratories.

Mr. Carrazza earned his MBA in Finance from The Stern School of Business at New York University and his B.S in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
