Tom Lister, Permira Advisers
Tom is Co-Managing Partner of Permira, responsible for the day-to-day private equity operations of the firm. Previously he was Partner and Head of Permira’s New York office. Prior to joining Permira in November 2005, Tom spent 13 years at Forstmann Little & Co. where he was most recently Partner. While at Forstmann Little, Tom was actively involved in the firm’s fundraising efforts and investments including Ziff Davis, Community Health Systems, Citadel Broadcasting, IMG and 24 Hour Fitness.
Tom earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School with Highest Distinction and was a George F. Baker Scholar and Loeb Fellow in Finance, and holds a B.A. in Chemistry and Political Science from Duke University. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
