Jason S. Friedman, Managing Director, Marathon Asset Management
Jason S. Friedman, 35, is a Managing Director at Marathon Asset Management, LLC. He is responsible for identifying, evaluating, structuring and managing private equity investments for Marathon, a global asset management firm with approximately $10.7 billion in capital under management. Mr. Friedman focuses on making investments in the financial services, media, industrial manufacturing, and consumer/retail sectors and has served on multiple boards of directors in the past.
Prior to joining Marathon, Mr. Friedman was a Principal for CCMP Capital Advisors, LCC and worked for its predecessors JP Morgan Partners, Chase Capital Partners and Chemical Venture Partners. Mr. Friedman began his career at Chemical Bank where he was trained as a credit analyst and executed leveraged buyouts and financing transactions within the Acquisition Finance and Global Structured Finance Groups.
Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Public Policy and Economics from Duke University and received his MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
