Karen Beyer, Vice President, The Blackstone Group

Karen Beyeris a Vice President in the Human Resources Group based in New York.Since joining Blackstone, Ms. Beyer has been responsible for the Firm’s professional recruiting and training programs. Before joining Blackstone in 2005, Ms. Beyer was a Senior Manager at Pfizer, where she was involved with the analysis and execution of product licensing and divestment transactions for Pfizer’s global pharmaceuticals business. Prior to that, Ms. Beyer worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an Associate in the Healthcare Group and at Coopers & Lybrand as a Research Analyst in the Integrated Healthcare Consulting Services division. Ms. Beyer received a BA in Psychology from Stanford University, where she graduated with distinction, and an MBA from Columbia Business School, where she graduated with honors.
