Paul Finnegan, Co-CEO, Madison Dearborn Partners

Paul J. Finnegan, Co-CEO - A.B., Harvard College; M.B.A., Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. Prior to co-founding MDP, Mr. Finnegan was with First Chicago Venture Capital for ten years. Previously, he held a variety of marketing positions in the publishing industry, both in the United States and in Southeast Asia. Mr. Finnegan has more than 25 years of experience in private equity investing with a particular focus on investments in the communications industry. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of iplan, LLC and Rural Cellular Corporation. Mr. Finnegan is Past President of the Harvard Alumni Association, and is a member of the Board of Dean’s Advisors at the Harvard Business School and the Leadership Council of the Harvard School of Public Health. He is the Chairman of Teach For America in Chicago and the Chairman of the Community Works Advisory Committee of the Evanston Community Foundation.
