Ross M. Posner is associate director at Allstate Investments LLC. Prior to joining Allstate Investments LLC, he was principal at Heritage Partners since 2003. There, he engaged in all facets of portfolio company formation and management. Before joining Heritage, Mr. Posner was a partner at Ridge Capital Partners, a private equity firm investing in niche leading companies in the lower end of the middle market. Approximately two-thirds of the investments Mr. Posner led at Ridge were into family-owned businesses.
Mr. Posner began his career at JP Morgan & Co. in 1985, working in the US and abroad, initially as a member of JP Morgan’s internal consulting group and then as a capital markets officer of JP Morgan Securities. Mr. Posner also was an associate at The Tribeca Corp., a New York based private equity firm.
Mr. Posner earned a BS in finance and management information systems from Syracuse University and an MA in management from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.
