William Glastris, Founding Principal, Prospect Partners
Prospect Partners co-founder William V. Glastris, Jr. is a veteran lower-middle-market investor with 25 years of experience investing in small companies. As a Principal of the firm, he is involved in all aspects of investment sourcing, execution and management. He currently serves as Chairman of the boards of six Prospect Partners platform companies: Billiard Brands, Inc., Knight Packaging Group, Inc., Kronos Foods, Inc., Marine Accessories Corporation, Regency Windows Corporation and Spirit Foodservice Products, Inc. He also serves as a Director of several other companies.
Prior to co-founding Prospect Partners in 1998, Mr. Glastris was a partner at LaSalle Capital Group, a Chicago-based fundless sponsor that acquired 22 small companies over a seven-year period. Before that, Mr. Glastris was with Golder, Thoma & Cressey (now GTCR Golder Rauner, LLC), a Chicago-based private equity firm managing over $400 million in three funds focused on consolidating fragmented industries.
Mr. Glastris received a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
