RCP Advisors, LLC (“RCP”) was formed in 2001 as an independent registered investment advisor to sponsor a series of private equity fund-of-funds. RCP differentiates itself through our focused approach to private equity investing, the experience of our team, our ability to demonstrate awareness of the fund managers and provide access to highly attractive funds, and our skills in ultimately selecting those managers that show the potential to achieve outsized returns.
RCP focuses strictly and exclusively on the U.S. Small-to-Middle Market Buyout segment of the private equity market. RCP believes this sector offers compelling opportunities available in the alternative investments arena. Furthermore, investment success in this niche requires highly developed and specialized relationships, access, selection skills, and experience that RCP’s team has developed and maintained over many years of work in this space.
While highly focused on a particular niche within private equity, the U.S. Small-to-Middle Market is large enough to afford RCP and its clients the opportunity to partner with many of the top fund managers from a large universe of investment opportunities and provide appropriate diversification through our fund-of-funds investment vehicles. RCP works with individual and institutional investors around the world and currently manages $1.3 billion.
