James Katzman: Managing Director, Head of M&A, Goldman Sachs West Region

James Katzman is Managing Director, Head of M&A for the West Region at Goldman Sachs.  Jim joined the firm in 1998, and he became a Managing Director in 2000 and a Partner in 2004. He relocated to San Francisco from New York in 2006. He has worked with numerous companies in the Consumer/Retail industry, as well as with a variety of companies in the Industrial, Natural Resources and Healthcare industries.  He received his M.B.A. from Columbia University, where he was a Merit Fellow, and an A.B., with honors, from Dartmouth College.
